D.I. June 30th

One of my all time favorite O.C. Punk bands D.I. is playing at the Underground(500 E Locust/Des Moines).

January 27th Update

Well, I'm happy to say that I finished moving the Iowa Listings into the new site. I still have the Omaha and Council Bluffs area and Lincoln Area to finish but I should be done by the first of Febuary.

January 15th Update

Well, all of eastern Iowa has been moved to the new site and I'm starting on the 80s in central Iowa. That leaves:

  1. Western Iowa, Omaha and Lincoln
  2. Moving members from the old site to the new one.
  3. Adding all the time lines
  4. Reporting to search engines
  5. Working out all the bugs in the member's profiles and the friends interface.

At this point, if you have new listings you would like to add there is no reason not to. If it is in an area where there isn't a time line just e-mail me davo@iowaunder.com and I'll set it up.

Ron Asheton Dies at 60, free new album from TSOL and Desktop problems

If you haven't heard, Ron Asheton of the Stooges was found dead on his couch in his home in Ann Arbor at the ages of 60. It's hard to express what he meant to me or music. I really doubt many of us would have been involved with Punk or music if he and the Stooges hadn't help point the way. Another Update

Well, my goal is to have the Eastern Iowa Section from the old archives in the new site. by this weekend Right now I'm about 2/3rds through 80-89. This is the 4th or 5th time I've done this and I always forget how many there are. I keep finding myself wishing for listings with no information and that's about the only time I'll do that. If it does keep growing I'll be spliting it into Cedar Falls, Iowa City/Cedar Rapids, Quad Cities area and other areas of eastern Iowa but let's wait until I get through moving the monster.

I've added two new content types for the archives:

Lauching soon

Well, tonight I hopefully did the last new Drupal install in the main public directory and migrated the test site in. As of right now, everything is working. I've tested everything but there are some features that will not be tested fully until the site is live. One of the things I had to drop was the multisites and the sub-domains. It made user management a nightmare, especially when I got into the user relationships. Not only was it not working correctly but the log in was all messed up.
