Red Coat Charmers was formed in 1994 by Joe Robinson, Michael Shunk, Pierre Tannous and Patrick Degan. They played consistently until breaking up in 1997. Pierre Tannous also played in Ambassador Krill and Joe Robinson and Michael Shunk played in Hilma Valla along with Mike Glen (Bottledog, Burmese) and Mike Green (Burmese.)

The state at this point is divided based on the old area codes of 319 - Eastern Iowa, 515 - Central Iowa and 712 - Western Iowa. Concil Bluffs is included in the Omaha listings.

The Loved Ones were a Soul Cover band that toured around the midwest and were based out of Davenport, Iowa. Ty Kindell which is his birth name gained greatest fame as the Guitarist Billy Zoom for the LA Punk Band X in the Los Angeles, CA. X of course was part of the first way of Punk bands that played the famous Hollywood Punk club the Masque.

X is important in so many way to the American Punk and Rock. The most common statement you hear about X is "They wrote the soundtrack of my life and they don't even know me." Their lyrics documented the American experiences so well that even 30+ years later their lyrics are still the prefect soundtrack to daily life on the City Limits of the American Dream. The story of X is the story of the outsider told by outsiders. and transplants from the Midwest. Musically they gave punk a strong foundation in the past while pointing clearly to the future.
