History
Glorious Krueger was a one off, impromptu jam session at Joe's North Cedar trailer and later on a late night drive to get food at McDonald's. The first two tracks run in at around 10 minutes and feature various found and toy instruments, goofy animal calls and the playing of Joe's trailer itself. The second track features talk about food, singing along with banging on Chuck's car and talking about the Apocalypse in what would be an early incarnation of The Apocalyptic Diaries while on a late night drive to get food at McDonald's.
Joe introduces one of the tracks as Glorious Krueger as a probable reference to the earlier musical collective, The Glorious Sloshbuckets. Joe later refuses to talk about the project for a week while he digests the talk about the Apocalypse. Eventually Joe comes to terms with it and he and Krueger agree to disband the project. In a move unknown to Joe to this day, Eric Dow and Krueger continue Glorious Krueger for the rest of the summer now under the guise of a charity to collect things from garage sales that may help them survive the Apocalypse.
By the fall the project went on hiatus, leaving preparation for the end of the world up in the air. Luckily, the Apocalypse has yet to arrive in full.
